Natural Monument “Los Pingüinos” Isla Magdalena:

A journey across the waters of the Strait of Magellan takes you to one of the most iconic wildlife sanctuaries in southern Chile: Los Pingüinos Natural Monument. After approximately an hour and a half of sailing from Punta Arenas, you arrive at Magdalena Island—a remote corner that comes alive with thousands of Magellanic penguins during the breeding season.
During the walk on the island (about one hour), you can observe these colonies up close in their natural environment, along with other characteristic species such as kelp gulls, cormorants, and seabirds that find an exceptional habitat here.
