The full-day navigation to Parry Fjord begins in the remote Caleta María, at the southernmost tip of the legendary Tierra del Fuego. From this privileged enclave, the vessel ventures into one of the most pristine and least explored fjords in Chilean Patagonia, surrounded by subantarctic forests, rugged mountains, and glaciers descending from the mountain range into the sea.
Throughout the journey, the landscape unfolds in all its grandeur: rocky cliffs covered in southern vegetation, waterfalls cascading down steep walls, and tongues of ice emerging through the mist. The navigation allows close views of impressive active glaciers and the chance to observe iconic southern wildlife such as sea lions, cormorants, and—with a bit of luck—leopard seals. The silence, interrupted only by the wind and the cracking of ice, transforms this experience into a true expedition into Patagonia at its wildest and most untouched.
During the day, strategic stops are made to contemplate the glaciers and take in the vastness of the surroundings, in a setting where nature sets the pace and isolation is an essential part of the experience. This navigation is ideal for those seeking adventure, extreme landscapes, and a deep connection with one of the most pristine territories on the continent.
