Estancia Olga Teresa, in the commune of Río Verde, is a historic livestock ranch founded in 1922 and run by the same family for five generations. Today, it combines ranching and rural tourism. Spanning 3,333 hectares, it raises Corriedale sheep, Hereford–Angus cattle, and operates a Chilean Horse (Raza Chilena) breeding program. On its land, Cerro Palomares stands out as a natural refuge for the Andean condor and a renowned observation point, recorded as gathering up to 210 condors in May 2025. In addition, the estancia promotes a private native wildlife conservation project where visitors can appreciate local biodiversity (guanacos, pumas, foxes, birds, and more), offering an authentic Patagonian experience and a strong commitment to preserving the ecosystem.
